Popular sizes of rhombus segment diamond cup wheels are 5inch and 7inch. Number of segments varies with sizes, generally 8 segments for 5inch and 12 segments for 7inch.
Rhombus shape segments with pointed leading edge to increase removal rate, while larger surface area diamond segments to provide smoother cut and longer life.
The cup body comes with ventilation holes to provide more efficient dust collection and to keep the segments cool. Those holes also reduce weight of the cup wheel making it workable on hand-held grinders.
Non threaded 22.23mm bore, threaded 5/8-11 or M14 arbor are all available.
Soft, medium and hard bond are available for different hardness of concrete floors. Extra soft, super soft, extra hard and super hard can be made as per request if needed.
General grits 30#, 50#, 70#, 100#. Coarse grits 6#, 16# and fine grits 200#, 400# can be made as per request if needed.
Mainly used on hand-held grinders for a wide range of projects from shaping and polishing of concrete surfaces, to fast aggressive concrete grinding or leveling. Can be used as concrete coating removal tool as well.
Can be used both dry and wet. When use dry, the hand-held grinder needs to be equipped with a shroud and vacuum dust collection system.
